Who is the Rethink Receptionist?

Our receptionist is the face of Rethink, and therefore is an integral foundational piece in supporting our professional team.  Our receptionist is often the first to engage with clients and therefore responsible not only for delivering exceptional service, but being part of our vision to create something meaningful for our clients and our team. Our receptionist is organised and proactive, pre-empting the needs of our clients and our team. They are able to focus on details and tasks in a fast-paced and busy reception whilst working with limited supervision.  Our receptionist has a genuinely positive attitude and friendly disposition, but above all else, our receptionist understands that their role is designed to engage, build rapport and create trust with both our clients and team.

What is the Rethink Receptionist responsible for?

Whilst we expect all our team members to roll up their sleeves and help out when needed across Rethink, some specifics that our receptionist is responsible for include: greeting clients face to face and on the phone, booking appointments and organising team schedules, preparing meeting rooms and client bookings, providing general administrative support to our professional team, delivering on the Rethink culture and contributing to a supportive workplace for everyone.

For the right person, this role provides an opportunity for you to explore and learn more about working in an innovative professional financial services firm with the potential for a long-term and rewarding career. Ideally you will have 1-2 years’ experience in a busy reception environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are critical for this role, with general administrative experience such as data entry, filing and document management essential. Experience with software programs such as MYOB AE, XPlan and Leap would also be highly advantageous.
