We have the perfect opportunity for a highly organised and self-motivated individual to join our growing team in our Accounting division.  Reporting to the Accounting Principal, you will seize this role and make it your own! You’ll undertake the full range of accounting production activities for our diverse client group, and will use your existing and proven competence and confidence to meet directly with clients.

Clearly we are looking for a very established, highly skilled Intermediate Accountant.  As such, we expect that the right person for this role is one that is likely ready to progress into a Senior role within the next year or two.  Is this you?

You must have at least 3 years’ experience in public practice (preferably as a graduate), experience in compliance work for individuals, businesses and SMSF’s, including the preparation of tax returns, financials, BAS and FBT, excellent communication skills and a strong analytical and problem solving ability with a strong attention to detail.  You will be sufficiently proficient that you will both well positioned and willing to support existing accounting team members via the provision of in-house training and undertaking initial reviews of basic compliance work.

Previous exposure/experience using Xero, Workflow Max and Class for SMSF’s would be well regarded.

You will be able to multi task and work independently as part of a diverse and busy team that offers a breadth of professional services – and you’ll love what you do!

The position will be offered on a full time (40 hr) basis.  Hours will be either as 8.30am – 5.00pm or 9.00am – 5.30pm, depending on your preference.  However, for the right candidate a part time arrangement will be considered, where the span of hours each day is reduced, but remains spread across a 5 day (Mon-Fri) week.
